The Carlisle Group of Companies consists of Carlisle Holdings Pty Ltd and its two 100% owned subsidiary companies - Carlisle Motors Pty Ltd and Carlisle Tractors Pty Ltd. Carlisle Motors Pty Ltd was founded by the Company patriarch Mr Paul Deguara and was incorporated on 26th October 1948. The group is still owned by the Deguara family, with Richard Deguara as its Managing Director.
Carlisle Motors is proud of the fact that we are a locally owned motor dealership that has been in the same family for over half a century. A main contributor to the group’s success and longevity is it’s standing in the community as an honest and reputable dealer that will go out of its way to meet it’s customer’s requirements.
In recognition of the support shown to us by the local community, each year the group donates to numerous local sporting and charitable organisations. It is our way of giving something back to the local community.
An indication of the confidence that the Carlisle Group has in the future of the local Mackay economy, is the new purpose built Parts and Workshop complex constructed in 2005 at a cost in excess of $2.5M. In addition, major refurbishment works are planned for our vehicle showrooms in the near future.
All this goes to prove that the Carlisle Group will be here tomorrow to service what we sell today.
